XI Biennial sea Edition


From 4 to 10 November 2008 will be held at the Maritime Station of Naples, the eleventh edition of the Biennale of the Sea, which, as always, is also designed as an opportunity for debate on development issues for Fisheries and Aquaculture Regional. In particular, the event includes three specific meetings on fisheries and aquaculture. On 6 November, the theme of the debate will be the new programming period 2007-2013, with its national stakeholders, a joint review of proposals for the Community's Mediterranean policy and management of shared resources. On 8 November, the meetings scheduled in the morning will cover the new phase of regional planning 2007/2013 fisheries, how the integration of operations co-financed by the EFF with those of other funds and verification of innovative intervention that can interact with both the protection of resources and the competitiveness of the sector. The afternoon session will allow discussion of topics related to scientific and environmental issues than to those of production with the aim of promoting an ever closer relationship in the interdisciplinary field of fisheries and the environment and to allow a more efficient transfer of technological innovation to production.

at ports and waterfront of some Mediterranean cities according to the specific needs of
port operators but also the needs elle various communities who need to live
